Position Title: Business Manager


Minimum Qualifications: Experience with public school finances and 4-5 years experience in accounting/finance preferred.


Summary: In coordination with the District Superintendent, the Business Manager is responsible for the financial management and planning of the district and sustaining a strong fiscal position through the establishment of sound financial policies and controls, fiscal analysis, and effective accounting practices.

  • Regularly review and analyze the District's general ledger, revenue and expenditure accounts.

  • Review, interpret and apply governmental accounting standards, including GASB and UFARS with respect to the District's financial activities, assuring adherence to all state, federal and District guidelines, rules or laws.

  • Monitor the cash assets and cash flow of the District for payroll and accounts payable.

  • Oversee the District's risk management insurance programs to effectively manage risk exposure and guard against significant financial loss.

Position: Full-time Industrial Technology Teacher for Dilworth Glyndon Felton Middle School


Minimum Qualifications: Requires Industrial Technology License to teach grades 6-8

Summary: This position will focus on teaching STEAM related Industrial Technology. Preferred candidate has experience or knowledge in the use of CAD, coding, or are willing to learn those programs. In addition, the middle level provides exploratory opportunities in the areas of industrial careers. The candidate should have the ability to instruct students considering the engineering, architectural, construction, or design fields. Candidates must be highly motivated, have an ability to form partnerships with the local IT industry, and have the ability to develop IT programming for the 21st Century. Responsible for preparing lessons, instructing students with a wide range of abilities; assessing student learning to plan instruction; creating an engaging and respectful classroom environment; communicating with students, parents and staff; maintaining accurate records; supervising students; participating in school initiatives and learning professionally.

Position Title: Special Education Teachers, (2) 1.0 FTE


Minimum Qualifications: Must possess all skills and abilities needed to manage students and the ability to function well as a team member. Ability to multitask, ability to provide quality individualized instruction in multiple areas, ability to enter data, develop IEPs and facilitate meetings for students on individual education plans, case manage and monitor individual education goals, accommodations, and modifications, and develop schedules and work with a team of special educators and assistants to meet the needs of all students in the program.

Position Title: Special Education and Academic Intervention Paraprofessionals


Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma


Summary:

  • Special Education Paraprofessionals will work closely with a special education teacher providing programming for students with IEP’s in addition to other duties as assigned. Position will report directly to the Special Education Director

  • Academic Intervention Paraprofessionals will provide educational interventions to students struggling academically with math, reading and writing in various grades with individual or small groups of students in addition to other duties as assigned. Position will report directly to the Building Principal and the Academic Intervention Coordinator.


Starting Pay: $16.03-$17.54/hour
