Position Location: Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton School District


Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton School District is looking for qualified Special Education Teachers like you for several openings for the start of the 2021-2022 school year. EBD, ABS, SLD or any Sped licensure combination will be considered.


Skills Needed:

Must possess all skills and abilities needed to manage students and the ability to function well as a team member. Ability to multitask, ability to provide quality individualized instruction in multiple areas, ability to enter data, develop IEPs and facilitate meetings for students on individual education plans, case manage and monitor individual education goals, accommodations, and modifications, and develop schedules and work with a team of special educators and assistants to meet the needs of all students in the program.

Position Available: School Psychologist, 1.0 FTE

Beginning: 2021/2022 School Year (August 23, 2021)

Position Location: Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton School District

Major Responsibilities: (including, but not limited to)

  • Assist in developing appropriate evaluation and reevaluation plans for students with disabilities, preschool through high school.

  • Administer intellectual, adaptive behavior, and other psychological assessments, including standardized tests and other informal procedures to determine special education eligibility. Document findings in written and oral reports to staff and parents based on evaluation results.

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, as appropriate.

  • Participate in evaluation meetings and weekly student study team meetings.

  • Collaborate with general and special education staff to complete behavior observations as well as design and implement behavior interventions compatible with student needs.

  • Suggest and, as needed, assist in implementing pre-referral intervention strategies for students in general education settings.

  • Provide professional development and training to district staff on behavior management and programming.

  • Other job duties, as assigned

Education and Experience: Master’s Degree required and must be eligible for or hold a Minnesota teaching license in School Psychology.

Position Title: Special Education and Academic Intervention Paraprofessionals


Qualifications: High School Diploma


Location: DGF Schools


Starting Pay: $16.03-$17.54/hour


Duties:

  • Special Education Paraprofessionals will work closely with a special education teacher providing programming for students with IEP’s in addition to other duties as assigned. Position will report directly to the Special Education Director

  • Academic Intervention Paraprofessionals will provide educational interventions to students struggling academically with math, reading and writing in various grades with individual or small groups of students in addition to other duties as assigned. Position will report directly to the Building Principal and the Academic Intervention Coordinator.
