Position: ASL Interpreter
Minimum Qualifications:
Interpreters must satisfactorily complete an interpreter/transliterator training program affiliated with an accredited educational institution
Hold current interpreter or transliterator certificates awarded by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), or the general level interpreter proficiency certificate awarded by the National Association of the Deaf (NAD), or a comparable state certification from the commissioner of education
Summary:
Facilitates communication between students with hearing impairments, staff and students with sign language
Interprets in mainstream classrooms during lectures, discussions, public address announcements and any other spoken language and/or sign language is necessary
Determines appropriate interpretation of the spoken language
Interprets during any school activity attended by the student with a hearing impairment including extra-curricular activities approved by the supervisor
Provides language and social modeling to assigned learners through completion of classroom activities, interactive conversation and play with other
Provides supplemental tutoring and/or other instructionally relevant activities as requested and/or required to assist learner to develop necessary skills under supervision of the teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing

Position Title: Academic Interventionist Paraprofessionals - Elementary
Qualifications: High School Diploma
Salary: As per DGF - MSEA Contract
Duties: We are seeking a dedicated Academic Interventionist Paraprofessional to provide targeted reading and math interventions in a small group setting within the district’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework. Responsibilities include:
Implementing evidence-based interventions
Using assessment tools to monitor student progress
Collaborating with teachers and support staff
Performing additional duties as assigned
Training in intervention strategies, assessment tools, and ongoing support will be provided by the district’s MTSS Coordinator.

Summary: The Rebel Kids Care Assistant Lead Staff Member supports the Director and Lead Staff in the daily operations of the Rebel Kids Care program. This role assists with supervising children, implementing activities, supporting staff, and helping maintain a safe, positive, and organized program environment.
