Fall of 2013, DGF community passed a ten year referendum geared for student services. This additional revenue had a strong focus for student conseling services and technology. Below are the three primary (tech related) goals of this initiative.
Enhance curriculum and the learning process by utilizing 21st century skills (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration and Creativity).
Reduce busy work and repetitive tasks for staff and students.
Stay current with technology.
Incorporating 21st century skills into the curriculum is the driving force to enhance the learning process for our students. These tools and resources help support individual school and district goals. Planning and discussion happens through multiple groups and committees, the main advisory group being the tech committee. Tech committee has representation from all vested parties (teachers, office, parents, special services, admin and board members).
