School Readiness

School Readiness is a five-day-a-week fee-based program that is available to children who turn 4 by September 1st  of the year  

• Morning and Afternoon Classes

  • Morning session: 8:15-11:15 am

  • Afternoon session: 12:00-3:00 pm

• Days Offered:  Monday-Friday

Goals and Objectives to provide: 

• an opportunity for social, intellectual, physical, and emotional growth with other four-year-olds

• a program to meet each child's needs, abilities, and interests

• involve parents in their child's school experience

• a center that is age-appropriate, well-equipped, attractive, and safe for children  

What you need to know:

• Who's eligible?  All children who will be four by September 1 of the year will attend classes

• School Readiness follows the regular school calendar although the first week of school is health screenings and each family will be assigned a screening time and no classes will occur September 5-8.  The first day of class is September 11.

• Payment is due whether or not your child is in attendance full-time and billed via Brightwheel.

• The number of sections is contingent upon enrollment.

• Parents are responsible for their child's transportation to and from School Readiness.  If school buses are running at the beginning or end of class time, your child may ride on the bus if certain conditions are met.

Cost:

• Tuition:

  • $36 per week (3 days per week - Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday)

  • $60 per week (5 days per week - Monday-Friday)

• The fee helps to cover supplies, equipment, and teacher and staff salaries.

• The tuition is invoiced through the Brightwheel app and due on the first day of each month. 

• Please contact our office if you are in need of financial assistance or if you have multiple children in our Early Childhood program.

• Designed to prepare children for Kindergarten entrance the following September

• An intensified readiness program

• Taught by a licensed teacher

• An opportunity for your child to experience a nurturing education environment

• Hands-on activities
