Position Title: Business Manager

In coordination with the District Superintendent, the Business Manager is responsible for the financial management and planning of the district and sustaining a strong fiscal position through the establishment of sound financial policies and controls, fiscal analysis, and effective accounting practices. Experience with public school finances and training in accounting and bookkeeping preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Regularly review and analyze the District's general ledger, revenue and expenditure accounts.
  • Review, interpret and apply governmental accounting standards, including GASB and UFARS with respect to the District's financial activities, assuring adherence to all state, federal and District guidelines, rules or laws.
  • Monitor the cash assets and cash flow of the District for payroll and accounts payable.
  • Oversee the District's risk management insurance programs to effectively manage risk exposure and guard against significant financial loss.

Position Title: Building Maintenance Assistant

Qualifications: HS Diploma or equivalent required

The Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton School District is accepting applications for two full-time Industrial Arts teaching positions to begin with the 2019-2020 school year. This includes a 1.0 FTE Industrial Tech position at DGF Middle School located at the Dilworth site and a 1.0 FTE Industrial Tech position at DGF High School located at the site in Glyndon.

Preferred candidates will have a background or interest in teaching STEM-related coursework including CAD, coding, robotics as well as vocational coursework related to architectural, construction, or design fields. The school district is currently working to develop public/private sector partnerships including articulation agreements and trade certification programming opportunities. Candidates must be highly motivated, have an ability and/or willingness to engage with local industry to develop curriculum for student IT programming curriculum for the 21st Century.

Position Title: Industrial Arts Instructor - 2.0 FTE

Requirements: Applicants must possess or be capable of obtaining the appropriate valid MN teaching license.

Position Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Start Date: August 2019

License and Education Required:

  1. Minnesota PreK-12 Speech Language Pathologist license required.
  2. Masters Degree in Communication Disorders required.
  3. Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred.

Job Duties and Requirements:

  1. Identify students with speech and/or language needs and provide programming based on Individual Education Plans.
  2. Complete required due process procedures within mandated time frames to include evaluations and Individual Education Plans.
  3. Maintains and improves professional skills by participating in building and department meetings, formal coursework, workshops, and seminars in an effort to stay current with best teaching practices.
  4. Works in a supportive and collaborative manner with colleagues and supervisors.
  5. Will participate in training on third party reimbursement and implement third party reimbursement tasks as needed.

Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Knowledge in appropriate assessment procedures and tools
  2. Knowledgeable in research based remediation procedures for speech and/or language disabilities.
  3. Able to analyze assessment data and make appropriate recommendations.
  4. Demonstrated ability to operate a computer, software and necessary classroom technology.
  5. Ability to develop effective and positive working relationships with students, staff, administrators, parents, and the community.
  6. Maintain professional composure while dealing with a variety of personalities and situations.
  7. Show initiative and function as a self-starter.
