K-2nd Grade Boys Basketball - Open for Registrations!
Ada Borup - Rules - Brackets
Feb. 5th Update: DGF Boys White 4th grade was to play a team at 8:30 am this morning but they had to drop out due to COVID. So DGF will move on and play at 10:30. They'll still get 2 games in.
Feb. 4th Update from Ada-Borup Organizer: Well it sounds like we will have some typical winter weather beginning tonight into tomorrow morning. A couple inches of snow with some high winds which as we know can create icky road conditions. Please be safe when traveling to Ada in the morning. If you decide your team can't or won't make it please let me know ASAP. It does sound as though the weather will get better around noon tomorrow. Safe travels and we'll see you tomorrow!!
Note from Ada-Borup Organizer: 3rd Grade: All games will be played in our new, 2 court gym (Cougar Den) because we have the capability to lower baskets to 8 feet for those games. The baskets will be raised back to 10 ft once 3rd grade divisions are done for the day. We will have concessions open all day. There will be both hot and cold food along with beverages being sold.
All teams and fans will need to enter the school from the North side of the school using our brand new main entrance that is located at the East wing. You can't miss it . Registration and admission tables will be set up there. All other entrances will be locked.
Admission this year will be $5 for adults and $3 for kids (players and coaches are free). We will have both hot and cold food at our concession stand along with beverages and snacks.
We ask that each team brings a couple of their own basketballs for warm ups. We will provide nice game balls for each game. Also NO BOUNCING BASKETBALLS IN THE HALLWAYS OR COMMONS. This has been an issue for years. Please remind your players!!
Teams will be directed to a designated location for their belongings and stuff they do not want with them during games.
Finally...we ask that coaches, players, parents and fans show sportsmanship and do NOT argue or torment the referees. Their job is hard enough and no one is perfect. I am sure a lot of you have refed before and let's be honest, it sucks at times. This year has been extremely tough in filling our spots for refs and we are fortunate to have enough for our tournament.

A few reminders before Saturday's games:
*** GYMS will be open at 7:30.
** Concessions will be available at each site. Please refrain from bringing in outside food and beverage when possible. Admission will be charged and will be good at both sites on the day of the tournament.
** T-Shirts will be on sale! Priced to move!!
** Please check-in at the admission table located at the site of your first game by turning in your team roster/waiver form (if you haven't already mailed or emailed it to me) at least 30 minutes prior to your first game.
** Warm-up basketballs will NOT be provided, you must bring your own.
** Double-check the brackets for any last-minute changes. The OFFICIAL BRACKETS WILL BE THE ONES POSTED AT EACH LOCATION!!
** Games may start as early as 25 minutes ahead of schedule as the day moves along. I don't anticipate that we will get that far ahead of schedule, however, it is very common for us to be ahead of schedule as the day moves along so please be aware.
****Coaches we are asking that you fill out the scoresheet before each game (we will have them at the scorers' table). This will help our statisticians and keep the games moving.
Program Directors, please forward this to your coaches. Coaches, please forward the Parking Information to your families and fan clubs. Thanks.
