Crack the Code: Tech Camp for Girls

Tech day camp for girls at NDSU.C hoose from three different sessions: ElectroFusion (technology and the arts), Tour de Tech (hands on experience in many technology routes such as cybersecurity, virtual reality, drones, and data science), TechnoPreneur (code solutions with real customers through a computer). Scholarships available.


College for Kids & Teens

College for Kids & Teens is a summer camp program for K-12 students. Expert instructors teach classes that will encourage exploration, adventure and creativity while cultivating young people’s understanding and appreciation for a variety of topics. Scholarships available.


GenCyber Camp

The goal of this camp is for students to learn programming, how networks and the Internet works, and how cybersecurity is deeply interwoven into our everyday lives.  Cost: free

Herdina Academy for Construction Trades

The Herdina Academy for the Construction Trades is a two-week experience for youth, ages 15 and up, to learn through hands-on tasks related to the construction industry. Students work side-by-side with industry and educational professionals learning about occupations, tools, safety requirements and the skills required for satisfying and lucrative careers. Students explore residential and commercial building construction through hands-on and classroom learning. Students are able to apply for three college credits and have scholarship opportunities.

HOPE Camp

Health Occupations & Professions Exploration (HOPE) Camp provides health career exploration to high school students. In partnership with NDSU, students stay on camps and learn from NDSU and Sanford professionals.  Most students attending the camp are considering college to become a health professional. 


Youth Medical Explorers

The Sanford Youth Medical Explorers program is open to high school students. It’s a chance to explore the medical field through after-hours tours, hands-on activities and conversations with health care providers at the Sanford USD Medical. Sanford Youth Medical Explorers is an 11 week program for juniors and seniors in high school. Applications are available each April and participants are selected in May for the following school year program.  The link above includes information on how to apply, a program descriptions, and a program schedule.


SCRUBS Camp

MSUM is hosting Scrubs camp, an opportunity to explore health science professions through engaging in hands-on activities including: surgery, chiropractic, nursing, dentistry, veterinary, athletic training, mental health and research. 


Construction Trades Camp

This is a two-week course for high school students to experience the construction industry. Students spend time building sheds, exploring career opportunities, and working side by side with contractors. Open to students 15 and older. Opportunity to earn three college credits. June 3-14 at Minnesota State Community and Technical College.


NDSCS Exploration Career Camp

9th and 10th graders. June 19-21.


NDSU STEM Kids Camps 

Ignite or fuel your child's passion for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) classes by registering them for these fun, hands-on learning camps. Students in grades K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 are invited to the NDSU College of Engineering for a variety of summer kids camps focused on topics in STEM. Camps cost $90 each and will be offered two different weeks.  


Microsoft Fargo DigiGirlz High Tech Camp

This free camp provides girls with a better understanding of what a career in technology is all about. Girls must be at least 13 at the time of application. The camp is June 6th-8th from 8am - 4:30pm. 


Code Blue EMS Camp

This hands-on camp will teach many components of Emergency Medical Services and what it's like to take care of people as a paramedic or EMT.
