Dilworth Elementary is a community based school. We believe that that all children are best served by a joint commitment between parents and educators. We welcome and encourage your involvement in all facets of the educational process through our volunteer program, our parent group (PAC parent advisory committee), and most of all through interactions with your child’s teacher.
Dilworth Elementary serves students in kindergarten-fourth grades. We have approximately 450 students. Due to growth in our Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton School District, restructuring has taken place during the past two years.
We currently have 23 classroom teachers. Our students’ education would not be complete without with our specialists providing learning in the areas of: special education, ELL, music education, physical education, EL, media.library, psychologist, student performance strategist and Title One. 26% of our teachers have graduate degrees, 59% of our teachers have 10 or more years of experience. Our school and district teaching staff have identified essential learning outcomes that are aligned with state standards and that drive their instruction.
