Employment Application

Community Education is seeking applicants for coaching and umpire positions within our summer recreation program.  If your interested, complete the Application for Employment by April 20th.  We will schedule interview accordingly.  We will assign coaches and instructors to teams and programs based on experience and programming needs.  All coaches and instructors must complete a background check form before they begin their job duties.  Cost for background check will be paid for by Community Education.

Coaches for Ponytail Softball-Little League-Mini Kickers-Youth Kickball-Flag Football:  Demonstrate leadership, organization, and team building skills.  Coaches are responsible for the organization, instruction, motivation and development of their assigned team.  Emphasis is on development and building confidence.  Estimated 9-10 hours per week.  June and July 

Summer Rec Site Supervisor:  Demonstrate leadership, organization, and team building skills.  Supervisor provides leadership to coaches and umpires and will monitor and provide feedback as needed.  Supervisors will fill in as needed when coaches are absent and assist with grounds cleanup and maintenance as needed.  June - End of Season

Summer Recreation Grounds Worker - Glyndon:  Provide assistance with grounds cleanup, mowing, field maintenance, etc.  
  • May - Part-time, as needed
  • June - 30-40 hours per week
  • July - 30-40 hours per week
  • August - Part-time, as needed
